Week 10 NFL Preview (TNF & Early Games)

WEEK 10 NFL PREVIEW

TNF AND 1:00 SUNDAY MATCH-UPS

WRITTEN BY MICHAEL BARON

Every team in the NFL has officially played at least half of its regular season schedule. This is now the time of year where we separate “contender” from “pretender”. Let’s look at this week’s NFL match-ups.

TNF COLTS (5-3) AT TITANS (6-2) A strong divisional match-up in the AFC South. The Colts are coming off a tough home loss to Baltimore while the Titans got right last week at home against the Bears. LINE TENN-2 O/U 48.5

SUNDAY 1:00

TEXANS (2-6) AT BROWNS (5-3) The Texans are coming off a win at Jacksonville and are probably the most competitive 2-6 team in NFL history. The Browns are coming off a bye and look to get back on track after a poor showing at home against LV in Week 8. LINE CLE-3.5 O/U 52.5

WASHINGTON (2-6) AT LIONS (3-5) A few weeks ago, the Lions were 3-3 and surprising teams in the league. Well, that’s over with as they got blitzed by Minnesota last week. Washington doesn’t know who their QB is and that is never a good thing. LINE DET-4 O/U 46.5

JAGUARS (1-7) AT PACKERS (6-2) Well, the Cowboys did cover the 14 against Pittsburgh on Sunday so maybe this match-up isn’t completely obvious. The Packers are coming off a beatdown of a beleaguered 49ers team and are in the driver’s seat in the NFC North. LINE GB-13.5 O/U 51.5

EAGLES (3-4-1) AT GIANTS (2-7) Say what you want about the Giants, but I believe they are headed in the right direction. They took the Bucs to the mat two weeks ago and probably should have won. Last week, the took down Washington and probably should have beaten this same Eagles team earlier this season. With better execution, they could and should be at the very least a 4-win team. The Eagles are in first in the NFC East but a win by NY could put them only one game behind. LINE PHI-3 O/U 44.5

BUCCANEERS (6-3) AT PANTHERS (3-6) Who was the team we saw get destroyed by the Saints on Sunday night?! Just as everyone was dubbing Tampa as the team to beat in the NFC, they lay an egg at home on primetime. Was it just an aberration? Meanwhile, the Panthers took KC all the way to the end in Week 9 and are very well coached. A team to look at in the future for sure. LINE TB-4.5 O/U 50.5
