We have an ACC contest to consider for Saturday when the Louisville Cardinals (1-3) meet the fourth-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish (3-0). Louisville enters this matchup with an 0-3 conference mark and is coming off a 46-27 road loss to Georgia Tech. Notre Dame is 2-0 in the ACC and defeated Florida State by a score of 42-26.

The Cardinals took a 21-14 halftime lead but Georgia Tech scored 32 second-half points and Louisville fell to 0-3 in the ACC. Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham threw for 229 yards with a pair of touchdown strikes but the defense allowed 471 total yards of offense and that was the tale of this contest. Louisville averages 246.5 passing yards per game and Cunningham is mostly responsible for these yards. Cunningham has completed 73-124 passes for 986 yards with nine touchdowns and five interceptions. Cunningham has been sacked 14 times and has scampered for an additional 84 yards with three touchdowns.

Notre Dame improved to 2-0 in the ACC with a 42-26 win over the Florida State Seminoles. The Fighting Irish took a 35-20 lead into the locker room and coasted to its third victory of the season. Running back Kyren Williams rushed for 185 yards with a pair of touchdowns to lead the Fighting Irish to its third victory of the season. The Fighting Irish average 204.3 passing yards per game and senior quarterback Ian Book leads the way. Book has completed 47-75 passes for 608 yards and three touchdowns with just one interception. Book has been sacked three times and has scampered for an additional 79 yards with four touchdowns this season.
